Helping others makes us feel good! And it’s a wonderful feeling to be involved in “Spreading Happiness! Why? Because our soul wishes to express unconditional love into the world, and Serving others helps us connect to the giving nature of the soul. Serving others supports the deepening of our meditation, because it builds the muscle of connectedness to everyone around us.

Being part of our Volunteer community also gives us a place to grow, apply and practice the principles of the film, and connect with a group of like-minded seekers.

We have 168 hours in a week. Imagine if in just 1 hour a week, we can be involved in spreading love and happiness. How would it feel to do that? What could be more important than Spreading Happiness!?

Below I share 10 simple ways we can Spread Happiness!


We probably all have hundreds of people we know through our various networks. When we share our personal story and experience using the App, it is very powerful,  And because we are a social not-for-profit enterprise, people are more likely to engage with it. We can inspire others towards a possibility – e.g. “What would happen if you had a calm relaxed mind each day, and could handle the ups and downs of life better?!” From wanting to handle stress, or being calmer, or discovering their Life Purpose, everybody can gain something positive from the App


STEP 1: Our Phone Contacts: we can go through our mobile and send Whatsapps or texts to everyone in our phonebook telling them to view the trailer. Even better is to have an actual conversation. There is also an e-flyer JPG at the bottom of this page you can forwards on. Here is an example of some text that you can send out to your phone contacts, that you can edit:

STEP 2: Facebook: Please share our trailer on your Facebook page, by clicking on this link and clicking SHARE under the video (you can also add your personal benefits in some text to accompany the video): https://www.facebook.com/meaningoflifeexperiment/videos/1707237902888257

When you listen to a meditation or watch a video in the App, you will see that there is a Facebook and Twitter share icon underneath. I would be very grateful if you can share the mediations and videos regularly on your Facebook and Twitter. People often need to see posts many times before they get intrigued!

STEP 3: Workplace. There are many company initiatives around reducing stress, increasing resilience, and boosting productivity. Meditation and Mindfulness that we offer in the app are proven to deliver this. We can contact our Training Manager & HR Manager in our workplace, or even the Owner, and ask them to share this free not-for-profit resource with the workforce.  You can also forward the e-flyer at the bottom of this page. Here is an example letter template that you can edit:

“Dear ……………..,

Hope you are well. I have been using a free not-for-profit app that has 42 Meditation and Mindfulness tools within it. It aims to reduce stress, increase resilience and boost our personal effectiveness. It has a rating of 4.8 stars out of 5, with over 100 5 star reviews. There are also 30 optional videos. It has helped me in terms of ………………………………….(list your personal benefits). I think that everyone in our company could benefit from using the tools in this app, so I was wondering if you would consider sending out more information about it to our staff? Please let me know what you think. You can download the free app here and try some of the meditations and exercises:

STEP 4: Community or Hobby NewslettersHave a look at your Email inbox! We are members of so many newsletters that each probably have thousands of members. We could we ask the newsletter editor to share some info about the app for members as a free resource. Here is an example email you could send to them (e-flyer at the bottom of this page):

Dear Editor, I’ve been using this free award-winning mindfulness app called “Meaning of Life Experiment”, and it’s really helped me to ………………(share your personal benefits). I think that members of this newsletter could really benefit from it because (list any reasons), and it’s a free not-for-profit resource. Would you consider sending information out to your members?

STEP 5: Facebook GroupsMost of us are members of various Facebook groups. Some groups allow members to post on the wall, so we can share the trailer on the group together with sharing our personal experiences. Or if that is not possible, we can ask the owner of the Facebook group to share the trailer to members. Once again, if we explain that it is a free and not-for-profit, they are more likely to be open to sharing with all their members.

STEP 6: Medical and Health ServicesIt is estimated that 70% of the things people go to a doctor about, are related in some way to stress. And a landmark Harvard study showed that meditation decreased visits to the doctor by 42%. We can share information about the app with our doctor, or other healthcare professionals.

STEP 7: Delivering Talks on MeditationWe may not be a meditation teacher, but we can certainly share our experiences of meditation! For example, we can organise a lunch time meditation session at work or within our community. At the 30 min or 1 hour session, we can briefly describe what meditation is, following some of the content of the video of Day 1. Then we can listen to one of the guided meditations from the app. After the meditation, we can encourage people to download the App.


We probably all know a journalist, a writer, or an online blogger with a following, etc! We can share the Press Release below with them, and feel free to amend the press release how you see fit. We can think of anyone we know that is involved in the following:

  • Online blogs
  • Newspaper Journalist
  • Magazines
  • E-newsletters
  • Medical & Health Services
  • Self-development groups on Facebook


We are looking to raise Philanthropic funds to support “Spreading Happiness”. We may know people who are looking for a vehicle to leave a legacy on this planet, and who personally would enjoy the app. We can share the app links with them and let them know that we are actively looking for Sponsors. There are sponsorship opportunities to have logos on the app and website, if they fit with our values.


Above I have shared some ideas about Spreading Happiness. However I am sure you may have ideas about how we can let more people know about the App! Perhaps you have an idea for a viral video, or some other way of reaching people, either in the real world or the virtual world. Please do feel free to share your ideas with us!
