How Society & The Media Contribute To Insecurity

There are many reasons why the way we live can magnify our insecurities. Mass media makes us compare ourselves to others, it increases a sense of competitiveness, “keeping up with the Joneses”, deriving our self-worth from money, status and power, the list goes on and on. 

And social media is magnifying this effect.
